Jesse Vann, Owner/Founder
Jesse began his real estate career as an agent and broker in Boston, Massachusetts. After several years of experience in the industry, Jesse transitioned to development and construction in 2012. This pursuit led him to establish his own development company, Vann Development. Through Vann Development, Jesse provided property development and construction contracting services for new homes throughout Saint John, U.S. Virgin Islands. During that time he oversaw over $50 million in real estate built and sold either speculative builds or client custom design-builds. Jesse still owns and maintains several vacation rental properties on the island. Jesse returned to Baltimore, Maryland in 2017 to pursue his passion for urban development and has since completed two real estate development projects with a pipeline of projects to come.
Erin Miles, Grants and Funding Specialist
Erin brings nearly 20 years of experience working in administrative services, with over a decade of time in the IT services industry. Erin holds a BA in marketing and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Saint Joseph’s University as well as an MEd in Educational Leadership and Administration from Loyola University, MD. Erin researches and identifies grant and funding opportunities that align with our company's goals. She manages the entire application process, from initial research to final submission, helping us secure valuable financial support for our projects. Her attention to detail and persistence play a key role in driving our growth through external funding.
Olivia Morrell, Operations Manager
Olivia is a Baltimore native and has Olivia Morrell serves as the Operations Manager, bringing her expertise and dedication to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization. Born and raised in Baltimore, she holds a Business degree from Towson University. Olivia values her close connection with the city and community, finding fulfillment in working alongside local partners and residents to ensure smooth and effective operations. Her commitment to both efficient management and community engagement plays a vital role in the organization's success.

Kristian Spannhake, Development Director
Kristian Spannhake, PE, LEED AP With over 15 years of professional experience, Kristian has held positions in several fields within the real estate industry, including engineering, construction, and development. In his role as Senior Project Director for Brightview Senior Living, he manages the development, design and construction of new Brightview communities from the Mid-Atlantic through the upper North East. Kristian earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, a Master’s in Business from Loyola University, is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland, and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Kristian has been an active member of the Urban Land Institute since joining in 2011 and currently serves as the Chair for Mission Advancement, ensuring that ULI Baltimore programs align with the mission and objectives of the organization. Kristian is also a member of USGBC Maryland and a Board Member of the Fells Prospect Community Association.

Ken Burstein is the Founder of KB Enterprises, LLC, a Baltimore-based real estate investment and development firm. With over six years of hands-on experience, Ken has successfully led projects across multifamily renovations, commercial redevelopments, and ground-up construction.
Having dedicated his entire career to the Baltimore City market, Ken brings a deep understanding of the city’s unique neighborhoods, zoning landscape, and community needs. This local expertise enables him to identify high-impact opportunities and deliver projects that not only generate strong returns but also enhance the fabric of the surrounding community.
